Traditional Building Retrofit Certification

Now for the first-time individuals working in retrofit roles are welcome into a building conservation certification scheme. The CIOB have established a number of roles which includes Retrofit Coordinator’s, Retrofit Assessor’s and Retrofit Designers which allows individuals to easily slot into the scheme. The scheme is open for individuals who work on traditional buildings to apply. It enables such individuals to demonstrate that they are competent in working on traditional buildings and enjoy the status of scheme membership. Membership of a building conservation certification scheme is a requirement for some roles detailed within PAS2035. For more information see here
