Now you can obtain all your retrofit courses in one place! 2024 sees a dramatic change for the Environment Study Centre, now offering a full range of retrofit and energy efficiency courses through its website. Having established the Level 3 Award Traditional Building Retrofit course in 2015, the Environment Study Centre in the past eight years resisted all temptation in developing retrofit coordination and assessment courses, to concentrate in areas where they were clearly leading experts. With the advent in late 2023 of other training companies offering traditional building retrofit courses, it was decided to offer a full range of high-quality retrofit courses through the Environment Study Centre website. The philosophy has not been driven towards high numbers of training places, but towards high standards, and this will continue.
Environment Study Centre Director of Studies and retrofit expert, Professor John Edwards said: “It’s the quality of training that’s most important, and the feedback from our learners suggests that we are doing very well and that’s because we are subject experts. We have the same endeavours with these new retrofit courses we are offering”. Edwards added: “If you look at the Environment Study Centre website, you will see that we are unique, because we offer training in a broad range of areas and not just retrofit, and provides learners with the opportunity to obtain more in depth knowledge than you would obtain from other training organisations”.
